The Take
They have not always been on the same side: they met as opponents 26 times, the last in 2024. Now they share a shirt again, and tonight’s first game is the 10th at Worlds for each. Tatu, Tutsz and Ayu have never played one.
Overheard
“To be honest, I think this isn't the last time we'll come to Worlds. I think we'll show up more times, either all of us as a team or individually.”
Sendo sincero, acho que essa não é a última vez que nós vamos vir para o Worlds. Acho que a gente vai aparecer mais vezes, ou todo mundo como um time ou individualmente.

After RED Canids lost to PEACE in the Worlds 2021 Play-In group stage, their third straight defeat at the event, top laner Guigo told TechTudo the loss said more about his own team's mistakes than about the opponent.
TechTudo →“No doubt (there's a lesson). Today didn't show much about their team, but about ours. It hit much more on what we're doing wrong than on what they're doing right.”
Sem dúvidas (fica o aprendizado). Hoje não mostrou muito sobre o time deles, mas sim sobre o nosso. Bateu muito mais na tecla do que a gente está fazendo de errado do que aquilo que eles estão fazendo de certo.

After FURIA swept LOUD 3–0 to qualify for Worlds 2026, Guigo told Mais Esports the team had embarrassed itself at MSI and EWC, but said that experience left them better prepared this time.
Mais Esports →“Oh, for sure. I think we were extremely emotional at that international, and we're coming in more battle-hardened this time.”
Ah, com certeza. Acho que a gente estava extremamente emocional naquele internacional e vem mais cascudo dessa vez.

In a duo interview with Tatu published before FURIA's first Worlds 2026 match, JoJo said FURIA are behind the Korean teams on the new patch but can learn fast.
Hotspawn →“In the Play-In, people want to do things differently and try new stuff. But on the main stage, things will be different. Korean teams will try the new things they've been learning, and we're pretty behind on that. But we can learn fast, so we're okay with it.”
